Exhibition «Singing like the birds» in the BirdLife visitor center La Sauge
In the exhibition «Singen wie die Vögel», visitors use laptops and high-quality headphones to experience birdsong. The exhibition makes extensive use of sonograms and allows to play birdsong with varying temporal resolution to enable the listener to hear the fine details in the songs and calls. The exhibition has been on display in the BirdLife visitor center Neeracherried until October 2020 and will be presented in the visitor center La Sauge until October 2022. The exhibition is a coproduction led by Valentin Amrhein (University of Basel) and Stefan Heller (BirdLife Schweiz).
